A simple GTK based playlist application
Xhippo is a simple GTK-based playlist app, designed to control mpg123, or various other commandline-based players and provide a friendly X interface. It will work with most UNIX commandline-based sound player programs, and is easily configurable. It can automatically pick the player to use based upon the file's extension. It has rudimentary support for both English and German.

There are run-time dependencies that need to be installed first. Why not use depothelper to install them all in one go?
