libgd-2.3.3
A graphics library for creating GIF and PNG files
It allows your code to draw images complete with lines, arcs, text, multiple colours, cut and paste from other images, and flood fills, and write out the result as a .gif or .png file. This is particularly useful in Web applications, where .gif and .png are the formats used for inline images.

There are run-time dependencies that need to be installed first. Why not use depothelper to install them all in one go?
