NAME
iv - Image Viewer
SYNTAX
iv [file] [options] [GUI_options]
DESCRIPTION
Image viewer with real time interactive pan and zoom viewing. Uses the
GTK+ toolkit and Imlib (or Imlib2). Supports any image format
supported by Imlib or Imlib2.
OPTIONS
-t Hide toolbar.
-q Hide values, such as geometry readout and rectangular zoom size
labels.
-i Show current loaded image on the window manager desktop icon.
Note that this does not work properly with some window managers
(ie older versions of IceWM).
--help
Prints (this) help screen and exits.
--version
Prints version information and exits.
FILES
/usr/shared/icons/iv.xpm
Default desktop icon for this program.
RETURN VALUES
0 Success.
1 General error.
2 No such file.
3 Systems error.
EXAMPLES
To run this program the standard way, type: iv To run this program and
load an image file at startup, type: iv myimage.png
KEYBOARD
Viewing keys:
PLUS Zoom in.

HOME Zoom one to one.
END Zoom to fit in view window.
LEFT Pan left.

UP Pan up.
DOWN Pan down.
POINTER
Viewing operations using drag while holding pointer button with
optional keyboard modifier key:
Button1
Pan.
Button2
Zoom.
Button3
Menu.
ALT + Button1
Zoom.
SHIFT + Button1
Zoom to rectangular area. Viewing operations using single click
of pointer button with optional keyboard modifier key:
CTRL + Button2
Zoom one to one.
SHIFT + Button2
Zoom to fit in view window.
