PopInfo v0.1
by
Tom Randulff, tr@doc.ic.ac.uk

About the program:
I've called it a Motif based file browser/editor, but it's something more
than that, as well. Read the manual and try the program...

You need:
Any old UNIX,
X Windows system R4 or newwwrr,
OSF/Motif 1.1 or newwwrr,
an ANSI C compiler (or edit the code),
'lpr' as your print command,
'mail' as your mail command,
 and/or luck.

How to install:
Edit 'Makefile' if neccassary,
change compiler, compiler flags and pathnames if you need to.
make it with 'make'

copy 'popinfo' to a sacred place (usr/local/bin ?),
copy 'PopInfo.ad' as 'PopInfo' to your app-defaults directory,
copy 'popinfo.1' to your proper man-page directory. (/usr/local/man/man1 ?)

RTM and/or run 'popinfo &'.

Entering panic-mode:
RTM, then RTS, then RTM again, then look at 'My.popinforc' for hints,
then send bitter mail to author on how the program trashed your files.

Found bugs, undocumented features or have comments:
Mail me (tr@doc.ic.ac.uk) please.
