NAME
mcalc - Calculate mortgage amortization tables
SYNOPSIS
mortgage Stand-alone amortization table calculator.
mcalc This invokes the Tcl front end for the mortgage calculator.
DESCRIPTION
mortgage is a stand-alone program that calculates (and writes to
files) amortization tables. It may be invoked from the command line in
either console mode or in an xterm. There is limited support for an
extra monthly payment on principle in this version of the program.
mcalc is the graphic (Tcl) front end for the mortgage calculator. Just
fill in the fields (first three required, others optional), then click
the appropriate button to calculate and write a file, then,
optionally, you may click on the 'View File' button to display and
scroll through the last file written in a window.
